My most recent roles have been grounded in service, accuracy, and structured judgement.
At Services Australia, I worked as a Service Officer and exceeded training requirements, received a collaboration award, and supported analysis and improvement activities beyond core front-line work. What mattered most in that environment was being reliable under pressure, understanding procedures well, and still looking for ways to make work smoother for the team and the people being served.
Before that, as a Vetting Analyst in Canberra, I developed stronger interviewing and analytical skills. The work involved:
- rapport-based interviewing
- analysing complex documents against a clear purpose
- identifying significant information quickly
- producing useful outputs from messy source material
These roles sharpened a combination that still feels central to my career:
- service-minded professionalism
- careful handling of sensitive or complex information
- strong listening and interviewing practice
- steady, structured communication
They also confirmed that I work well in environments where trust, procedure, and real-world usefulness all matter at once.
